Refining Privacy Research to Improve Health Outcomes
The Triangle Privacy Research Hub’s symposium will bring together leading experts in the field of privacy, health, and data to discuss how new technologies and data sources can improve health outcomes, while protecting individual privacy. The goal of the event is to propose specific law, policy and practice changes to promote the more effective use of data for health.
The symposium is sponsored by the Triangle Privacy Research Hub (TPRH), Intel Corporation, Future of Privacy Forum (FPF), the North Carolina Journal of Law & Technology (NC JOLT), the Information Accountability Foundation (IAF), Duke University Science and Society Initiative, Duke University Masters of Management in Clinical Informatics (MMCi), and Indiana University Center for Law, Ethics, and Applied Research (CLEAR) in Health Information.
