SPEAKERS (final confirmation needed)
Evelyn Ruppert, founding and editor-in-chief of Big Data & Society, PhD, Professor in Sociology at Goldsmiths, University of London will speak about the rise of the privacy-conscious consumers and citizens.
Dan Shefet, French-Danish lawyer who won the Right to be Forgotten will tell about the case which forced Google to give individuals a saying over their own search results. Shefe also runs this project; eaaid.eu on accountability og democracy.
Daniel Kaplan, author and head of the French project MesInfos, which – working closely with banks, insurance companies and others – to go a step further than compliance with the personal data law by empowering individuals with their own data. He will tell us about the progress and results in this visionary project that can give Europe a competitive advantage on data.
Gry Hasselbalch & John C havens, both part of The IEEE Global Initiative for Ethical Considerations in Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems will do a dilemma conversation on the many pros and cons of Artificial Intelligence and Data Ethics.
