The most comprehensive regulatory reform in a generation, Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into force on May 25, 2018. With a geographic scope extending far beyond the borders of Europe and a material scope reaching across all industries, GDPR affects numerous Israeli companies not only in the fields of high tech, online, mobile, cloud, and IoT but also in financial, healthcare, and telecom markets. In this session, leading global data protection experts will provide a hands-on, practical training session to help your company prepare for, implement, and comply with GDPR. The session will address the following issues and allow the participants to engage with the presenters in an extensive Q&A:

· Determining if GDPR applies to you
· Starting a data governance program and appointing a DPO
· Performing data inventory and mapping
· Ensuring legitimate bases for processing
· Understanding consent
· Conducting risk analysis and DPIA
· Enabling data subject rights
· Managing vendor relations
